I am working on synchrotron-radiation-based microtomography and phase contrast imaging techniques and their application for in situ/vivo experiments at the outstation of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon at the PETRA III storage ring in Hamburg. Further research interests are tomographic reconstruction techniques, phase retrieval methods, image processing & analysis, segmentation, digital volume correlation, and machine/deep learning.
