multispectral camera
Site:
Heidelberg
A multispectral camera collects the light reflected from the surface of the objects of interest (e.g. biological tissue). In contrast to traditional Red-Gree-Blue (RGB) cameras, a multispectral camera collects light in many more and narrower optical regions, thus generating images with dozens of channels. In turn, a multispectral camera is able to collect more detailed spectral information compared to an RGB camera.
