I am interested in the automated handling, imaging and image analysis of biological samples including invertebrates and zebrafish embryos. The focus is on developing custom imaging systems for high-throughput screening, classification and feature detection. Furthermore, I follow an open science approach: technologically advanced imaging systems are developed as low-cost DIY solutions to be also applicable in the global south.
