Long-wave infrared imaging (LWIR)
Long-wave infrared or LWIR is a subset of the infrared band of the electromagnetic spectrum, covering wavelengths ranging from 8µm to 14µm (8,000 to 14,000nm). This is the radiant heat that uncooled thermal imaging cameras see.
